Manchester United will entertain offers for Casemiro amid strong interest from Saudi Pro League clubs
Manchester United will entertain offers for Casemiro, with the Saudi Pro League clubs targeting a big-money move for the 31-year-old.
TalkSport understands the Lancashire club will consider cashing in on the Brazilian in order to reduce their bloated wage bill in the midst of a rumoured squad shake-up should Ratcliffe’s minority takeover bid sail through in the coming month.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian ace is the latest Premier League star being targeted for a big-money move to Saudi Arabia following reports of national teammate Richarlison and club teammate Jadon Sancho, who is currently banished from training with the first-team, being linked with respective moves to the Middle East.
Casemiro up for a shock Old Trafford exit in January

United’s incoming minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who will lead the club’s sporting department, is believed to be open to offers for the 31-year-old to help fund an Old Trafford rebuild.
United paid £60 million to sign Casemiro, also one of their top earners, from Real Madrid in the summer of 2022 and he played a key role in Erik ten Hag’s side finishing third and reaching two cup finals after a poor start to the season.
Casemiro has emerged as one of the Saudi Pro League’s primary transfer targets for 2024, with an offer even possible for the Manchester United midfielder in January.
His summer signing last year was met with criticism due to its huge cost — United paid £60 million plus an additional £10 million in add-ons and agreed to wages around £300,000 a week — as well as the length of the contract, considering he turns 32 next February.
Whilst he became a success last season, Casemiro has failed to live up to the billing this campaign, with United losing five of their 12 league games to date.
The Brazilian is currently out of action with a hamstring injury and Erik Ten Hag does not expect him to return before Christmas.
